No detail or amenity has been spared while creating Natura Reserve in order to ensure the utmost comfort in tropical coastal living. If you are looking for off-the-beaten-path, you have found it.

Casa Matapalito in Cabo Matapalo is paradise for nature lovers who thrive on adventure. It’s raw, it’s beautiful, and it’s brimming with life! Come experience in style what National Geographic calls “the most bio-diverse place on Earth”!

This spectacular 5-acre property is located on the tip of the Osa Peninsula in the small community of Cabo Matapalo. With the Pacific Ocean in your front yard and continuous primary rainforest connecting you to the famous Corcovado National Park, the wildlife viewing both by land and sea is unrivalled.

Cabo Matapalo also boasts some of the world’s best surfing and sportfishing in the crystal blue waters of the Golfo Dulce.

It is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet, and you can see why right from your own private deck.
The area was once home to the Brunca indigenous group, which considered this area to be a holy place, and many who visit find a spiritual peace and energy that is quite uplifting.
Casa Matapalito is situated a short 35- to 40-minute drive outside Puerto Jimenez, which makes for easy access to essentials including grocery stores, banks, restaurants and a pharmacy.
Casa Matapalito is a 5-star exclusive beachfront property. Consisting of two living structures, the main house and tower adjacent to the house, the estate comfortably sleeps 10 guests for the vacation of a lifetime. It also has lookout points to check the surf and enjoy sunrise.

Casa Matapalito's architecture and grounds were meticulously thought out in order to preserve the natural aspects of the land and habitat, and to ensure the utmost privacy and enjoyment during your stay.

Every room, every bathroom and every piece of furniture has been custom-made and tastefully designed with your comfort in mind to give you that homey atmosphere inserted into paradise!
The main house, Casa Matapalito, is a luxurious 3-story structure with a modern-Zen feel that consists of four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two outside showers.

Starting on the third floor, there are two master bedrooms with a shared balcony and rocking chairs to enjoy the ocean views.

These rooms are equipped with fans and screened-in windows to keep the tropical breezes flowing.
The second floor of Casa Matapalito, with its open and spacious floor plan, is ideal for entertaining and hosting large family gatherings. The space contains a fully equipped kitchen, living and dinning areas, and a full bathroom.

Enjoy the open sea breezes and wildlife as you cook and relax on the plush custom-made bamboo sofas and hammocks.

The second-floor dining area can comfortably fit 11 guests for an enjoyable dining experience.
The ground floor of Casa Matapalito contains a bedroom, full bathroom, and large oceanfront deck. The first-floor bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and small private deck (separate to the main ground floor deck).

The expansive ground floor deck is a versatile space; enjoy sunrise yoga, relax in the hammocks or lounge chairs with a good book, have an evening BBQ amongst the monkeys, or gaze at the myriad of stars with a cold beverage at night. Adjacent to Casa Matapalito is another adjoining master bedroom tower. The structure stands a mire 50ft away from the main house and is on the second floor of the car park.

This room is equipped with a king bed and plenty of space to add an additional mattress on the floor in case you are a big party. The bedroom tower would also be ideal and easily converted into a teen’s room. Guests in this bedroom tower will share the bathroom with the first floor of the main house, Casa Matapalito.
